Other possible Problems: In some network configurations, it is possible for a problem (Error Message: Sharing Violation) to arise when trying to run the Punch Clock application on the file server at the same time it is being used by another work station. If this problem arises, it can easily be remedied by making the Punch Clock executable file as read-only. This may be accomplished as follows: In Windows: o In Windows Explorer, select the directory containing Punch Clock o Click once on the PCLOCK application to highlight it. o Right-click on the PCLOCK application, and select Properties from the pop-up window. o Click on the box marked Read-Only and select Apply, Followed by OK. |
