How do I install a new version of Punch Clock?

To upgrade Punch Clock, use the following steps:

1) Shut down all running copies of Punch Clock.  If you are running Punch Clock on a network, all copies need to be shut down.  Failure to do so can result in a corrupt database file.

2) Make sure noone else starts Punch Clock or tries to Punch while performing this upgrade.

3) Run the setup of the new Punch Clock.  If running Punch Clock on multiple computers, make sure to install it on the Server (or Mother computer) first.

4) For network installations, each workstation will need to install the new version of Punch Clock.  Failure to do so could mean an absense of data or even database corruption.

5) Go into Punch Clock and make sure that your data is intact.  Check to make sure that your employees are listed and that your activation codes are present.  If your data is not apparent, then you are probably not looking at the correct db.  This should not happen, but if it does, go into Manager Mode and reset your database location.

* NOTE - When done correctly, you will not need to enter new activation codes, etc.
