Accessing the Admin Console

Tutorial - First Time Use - Accessing the Admin Console

In order to perform any management functions, you must first access the administrative console.

F2 for Admin Login

In order to access the admin console, you must first login.  This can be done by accessing the FILE menu and clicking on Mgr/Admin Login.  Alternatively, you can just hit the F2 key.

Default Password

When starting the program for the first time, the default Admin password is 'sys'.  The first time you attempt to access Admin Mode a message will pop up reminding you of the default password.

Enter Password

After clicking ok, you can then enter the password.  In the above picture, we entered 'sys'.

Admin Console

Pictured above is the Admin Console.  It is immediately obvious as new menu options have appeared at the top of the screen.  These options will be explored further in other sections of the tutorial.

Manager Mode

It is also possible to log in as a Manager.  Managers have a seperate password from the Admin user, and have access to less functionality.  Both the Admin and Manager passwords can be changed in the Maintenance menu of the Admin Console.
